Hungarian is her native language, which she practices often to keep fluent. Bruckner grew up in Hollywood, California. She had her Hungarian mother and a Russian father. They have divorced. Her paternal grandfather was German and is now deceased. The couple were introduced in Hungary. They emigrated to into the U.S. through an Italian refugee camp. The siblings of her are two sisters and a brother.
