  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, better known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is a popular American artist and rapper. The stage name he uses is the name of a loved uncle and is also the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal with GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh, and then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015), his first studio album was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott continued to release albums that year, including a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho and was released under the name Huncho Jack. The third studio album Astroworld was released to acclaim from critics. The album also produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following his hit single "Franchise" featuring Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to be ranked number one on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
